Can you take nail glue through airport security?
There are no restrictions on taking nail glue through a security checkpoint at the airport apart from the size of bottle that the nail glue is contained in.
Since it is a liquid, nail glue must be in a bottle no larger than 3.4oz/100ml. It must be taken out of your hand luggage and placed in your resealable see-through plastic bag along with your other liquids when passing through the airport security checkpoint.

The TSA offers a very good service on Twitter where you can ask a specific question about whether you can take something through the security checkpoint and they will respond quickly. You can also use a service on their website – TSA What Can I Bring?
This is an example response from the TSA to a passenger’s question can I take nail glue on a plane:
Can you take nail glue in your carry on?
As stated above the only restriction on taking nail glue through a security checkpoint at the airport is the size of the bottle which must be no larger than 3.4oz/100ml.
If there are stores at the airport after the security checkpoint that sell nail glue you can purchase more there and carry it in your hand luggage.
Can you take nail glue in your checked bags?
You can place nail glue in your checked bag without restriction so it is perhaps the best place to travel with it anyway.
Obviously if you lose a nail during the flight you won’t have access to it to replace the nail until you get to your destination.
Both nail polish and nail polish remover can be taken through airport security in your carry on bag, subject to the same 3.4oz/100ml liquids rule per item as the nail glue.
You can take nail clippers, nail files and small nail scissors in your hand luggage as well.
All of these can also be packed in checked bags without any restrictions.
Can you take other types of glue?
Although nail glue is allowed, many model glues, rubber cement, and industrial-strength glues and adhesives are flammable so they are not allowed in either carry-on or checked baggage.
However, some super glues and other household glues are not flammable so they would be allowed in your baggage.
Check the product label or the manufacturer’s material safety data sheet to see if they are or not. The important thing is the “flash point” which if at or below 140° F (60° C) indicates it is a flammable liquid so it cannot be carried in your baggage.
Conclusion
You can take nail glue on a plane in your carry on provided the bottle it is contained in is no larger than 3.4oz/100ml (which is unlikely as most bottles are only 10ml or less). It can be placed in your checked baggage without restriction.
So there is no need to worry as you can repair your nails and remain looking glamorous.
You should have no problems taking nail glue with you when traveling in your carry on bag, size allowing. Have a good and stress-free flight.
