Do all airlines offer wifi?
Almost all airlines, apart from regional/short haul airlines, either already offer wifi on their aircraft or are in the process of installing the equipment necessary to provide wifi.
How do airlines provide wifi?
Airlines cannot use the GSM network to provide internet access to passengers. Instead, they have to use satellite internet services. Retrofitting this equipment to aircraft is not a small job and neither is it cheap.
